The Granville Brothers developed a couple of air racers in the 1920's and 30's. The Gee Bee R1 and R2 proved very successful in the "Golden Age of Air Racing" and this model, the R3 is a "what if" plane that never was built.

Our model is designed by Horst Streicher, owner of the company STO. Horst saw the plans for the Type R3 and decided to create the ultimate Air Racer.
